Reciprocal Linking

Definition of Terms:
Reciprocal linking, or link-swapping, is the creation of a link from your site to another in exchange for a link back from that site to yours.
URL - The address of a web page on the world wide web.

This is one way to get links, because some directories or website does not accept links without a link back.
Since it wouldn't be nice to have a lot of links on your site. There is a remedy for this. You could create another site as a reciprocal link for the directory or site where you have submitted your own.
Example:
Let us name your site as site A, the directory as site B and the reciprocal URL as site C.
If you submit site A to site B, then if site B asks for a reciprocal, you put site C.

Article Submission

Your article cannot simply be an advertisement or pitch for whatever you are selling. In fact, even your resource box should not be pitching the sale. An article is a gateway that allows you the opportunity to begin a dialog with a potential prospect.
Publishing lots of articles that link back to your target site or blog will help you in the search engines. However, to really get the most out of article marketing, you need to convert article readers into direct traffic.

To do that, you need a compelling headline, and a blockbuster opening paragraph. From there, your article should lead the reader step-by-step, sentence-by-sentence, to your resource box, where the call to action is such that the reader clicks through onto your turf. Learning basic and advanced copy writing techniques will improve your overall marketing effectiveness by leaps and bounds.

Directory Submission

Definition of Terms:

Web Directory - a collection of web-sites that are organized by subject or category. One distinct characteristic of a web directory is that it is usually maintained by humans instead of software like in the case of search engines.

Directory Submission - a process of submitting your web-site on web directories. One of the most effective ways to promote your web-site without spending a fortune.

There are two ways to do Directory Submission; Automatic and Manual.

If you want to speed up the process of your submission, you could choose Automatic submission by using a submission tool. Despite the speed, this process has a lot of disadvantages. One main disadvantage of this is that a lot of directories treat automatically submitted sites as spam.

With above stated, it is better to choose Manual submission. It helps web-site submission to the best available category as well as sub-category of directories. In spite of being a time consuming task the best advantage of manual submission is that it gives higher control while the web-site submission process is on. Manual Directory Submission is a quality listing process compared to automated submissions as one can have a check on the quality of guidelines of each directory with reference to the descriptions, titles, text etc.

Since the task would be time consuming, you would have a hard time doing it yourself. Why not hire a Link Builder that would do Directory Submission for you?
